Terms of Use

1. Provider and scope

These Terms of Use govern your use of the Magnetic World app and related services ("Magnetic World", "we", "us"), provided by:

By creating an account or continuing to use the app after being asked to accept these terms, you agree to them. How we handle your personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 16 years old to use Magnetic World. If the law of the country you live in sets a higher minimum age (for example 18 in India), that age applies. When you sign up, we ask for your date of birth and country of residence to check this. If you are too young, your account is deleted immediately.
• The information you provide must be truthful. Each person may hold one account, and you may not pretend to be someone else.
• Keep your login credentials secret. You are responsible for activity on your account unless it happened without your fault.

3. The service

Magnetic World helps you plan trips alone or with others, share trips and collect digital souvenir magnets. Some suggestions (for example activities or packing lists) are generated automatically using AI. They can be incomplete or wrong; please check important information such as opening hours, entry requirements or prices yourself.

We develop the app continuously and may change, add or remove features. We aim for high availability but cannot guarantee that the service is always available or error-free.

4. Your content

• You keep all rights to the content you create or upload (for example trips, notes, photos, your profile picture and bio).
• You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence, limited to the duration of your account, to store, process and display this content as far as necessary to provide the app. This includes showing your profile and any trip you make public to other users, and showing shared trip content to the members of that trip.
• You may only upload content you have the rights to, and only photos of other people with their consent.
• If you make a trip public, its name, destinations, dates, header image and non-private activities are visible to all users of the app.

5. Prohibited content and conduct – zero tolerance

Magnetic World has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You must not post, upload or share anything, or behave in a way, that:

• harasses, threatens, bullies or intimidates others;
• is hateful or discriminatory, e.g. based on origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation or disability;
• is pornographic or sexually explicit, or sexualises minors in any way;
• glorifies or incites violence, terrorism or self-harm;
• is illegal or infringes the rights of others (copyright, personality rights, trademarks);
• discloses other people's personal data without their consent;
• is spam, advertising, a scam, or contains malware;
• impersonates another person or organisation;
• attempts to bypass security measures, access other users' data or disrupt the service.

6. Reporting, blocking and moderation

• You can report content and users directly in the app, and you can block users so they can no longer contact you.
• We review reports within 24 hours. If content breaks these terms, we remove it and may restrict, suspend or permanently delete the account responsible, without prior notice where the violation is serious.

7. Third-party offers and affiliate links

The app contains links to offers from partners (for example accommodation via Trip.com or eSIMs via Airalo). Some of these links are affiliate links: we may receive a commission if you book, at no extra cost to you. Any booking contract is concluded exclusively between you and the respective partner, under that partner's terms. We are not responsible for the partner's services.

8. Paid features

The basic features of Magnetic World are free. If we offer paid features (for example a subscription), the price and scope are shown before purchase, and payment is handled by Apple's App Store or Google Play under their terms. Nothing is charged without your explicit purchase.

9. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence, we are only liable for breaches of essential contractual obligations, limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Otherwise our liability is excluded to the extent permitted by law. Mandatory statutory liability, in particular under consumer protection law, remains unaffected.

10. Termination and account deletion

You can delete your account at any time in the app settings; see Delete account. We may terminate your use of the service with reasonable notice, or immediately for good cause, in particular for serious or repeated violations of section 5.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when we add features or the law changes. We will inform you in the app before changes take effect. To continue using the app, you will be asked to accept the new version. If you do not agree, you can delete your account.

12. Governing law and contact

Austrian law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you habitually reside.
